Monero for Nexus Market — Private Money, Simply

XMR-only market · Non-KYC buying · Subaddresses · Auto-mix · No JS

Nexus is Monero-only for a reason: ring signatures and stealth addresses make chain analysis a nightmare — unlike Bitcoin. This friendly guide shows how to get XMR and deposit safely, even if you’ve never used crypto.

Step 1 — Get XMR without KYC

Use LocalMonero (peer-to-peer) or Bisq. Pay via cash, Revolut, or gift cards. Avoid KYC exchanges (Coinbase etc.) — they link ID to coins. For US/EU, LocalMonero sellers often accept Zelle/SEPA. Small test amount first!

Step 2 — Use official wallet

Download Monero GUI or Feather Wallet. Write 25-word seed on paper. Never store seed in cloud. For advanced privacy: run via Tails/Whonix.

Step 3 — Deposit with fresh subaddress

In Nexus → Wallet → “New subaddress” → copy. Send XMR from your wallet. Each deposit = new subaddress (reuse = traceable). Fee ~0.5% dynamic. Confirmations: 3 (~9 min). Check “Payment ID” is empty — Nexus uses integrated subaddresses.

Step 4 — Auto-mix inside Nexus

Settings → Privacy → Enable auto-mix (0.3% fee). It churns your XMR once before crediting vendor — cheap privacy. Don’t use external mixers (scam risk).

XMR vs BTC — why Nexus chose XMR

BTC is pseudonymous, not private — chain analysis firms trace it. Monero uses ring signatures + stealth addresses — every tx looks identical. That’s why Nexus beats BTC markets for privacy and speed (9 min vs 2–12h withdrawals).

Safety tips

  • □ Test with 0.05 XMR first deposit
  • □ Never share seed, never screenshot wallet
  • □ After trade: New Identity in Tor, mix again if paranoid
